General Overview notes: The Adaptec 274x series driver is designed to support the 274x series of EISA SCSI adapters and the 284x series of VL-Bus SCSI adapters. The 2(7,8)42 versions include a floppy controller.

Special Features of Driver / Driver Notes: The 274x is available in a 'T' version that includes two SCSI channels, both channels are supported by this driver.
The onboard floppy controller available on the 2(7,8)42 cards is not supported.

Known Problems
The 284x driver uses port 4c00 by default. You must set the DIP switches on your 284x card to use this port. The correct settings are:
sw1:on
sw2:on
sw3:off
sw4:off
The 274x driver uses port 0x4c88 by default.
